The Purple Dress Project

Okay so if you follow my blog you know that last October I did the "October Dress Project". Well I have found a new dress project. Its called the "Purple Dress Project".

The Purple Dress Project was initiated by Ashley Hasty through her blog, A Hasty Life (http://www.ahastylife.com). The purpose is to raise money for crucial research, bringing us closer to a future free from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Over 1.4 million American adults and children are affected by these digestive diseases. While many suffer in silence, Take Steps and The Purple Dress Project bring together this community in a fun and energetic atmosphere, encouraging them to make noise and be heard.

Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.

I really am excited for the efforts being put forward to find a cure for Crohn's and Colitis. One of my dear friends suffers from Crohn's. And my family has been effected my Colitis. My dad battled it for many years, and after trying many different things fanily was about to have surgery to cure it. It's something know one should go through. Being in and out of hospitals, not knowing when you could have a flare up. Not having the energy for just every day life. Please help by donating!!!
